Ball Watch Company is supporting its ambassador Guillaume Néry both in his chosen field of endeavor, freediving, and in his activities outside the water. The latest BALL timepiece, the Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime, pays homage to this champion.

He is known as a talented freediver, a consummate sportsman, and man of many facets. But there is another side to Guillaume Néry: when he is not focused on setting new records, this deeply committed man travels the world to defend the cause that he holds dearest and believes most essential: protection of the world's oceans.

It is no mere coincidence that Guillaume has joined forces with film producer and director Luc Besson to support the Antinea Foundation to improve public awareness of the importance of protecting the marine environment. More than just a belief, it is a daily battle. Whether he is diving alongside Japan's famous Ama freedivers with their age-old pearl-diving traditions, or engaged in beach or seabed clean-up operations in Europe, his life is one of constant movement tuned to the beat of the environment.

Inspired by the epic adventures of its Ambassador, Ball Watch Company has created a watch in his image.

Conquest is the aspiration of the new Diver Worldtime. Behind its authentic character and its sporty and elegant appearance lies a distillation of ingenious technology.

To accompany Guillaume on his global travels, Ball Watch Company has developed and manufactured in its workshops a special module grafted onto the ETA 2836 caliber. This module adds a remarkable World Time function to the movement. The three central hands display the local time, while a 24-hour disk rotating automatically in the opposite direction simultaneously indicates the time in 24 different time zones.

The Diver Worldtime also has a bidirectional multi-city rotating bezel that is actuated by a screwed-in crown at 2 o'clock. Thanks to a notched mechanism mounted on ball bearings, the crown can be adjusted with extreme precision. This is all the more important in that the automatic movement continues to operate while the time zone is being changed. In this way, not even a single second of the original time-setting is lost. To satisfy its amphibian nature, the bezel is graduated for diving. Thanks to the Swiss technology of BALL self-powered ³H micro gas tubes, time knows no boundaries. Its legibility remains exceptional, even in the complete darkness of the seabed, and the day/night indication is equally as distinct.

The typology, design and colors of the dials underscore the watch's functions. The caseback engraving of Guillaume's portrait is testimony to the extreme level of detail incorporated into this timepiece, right down to its purest aesthetic form. The screwed-in crown, positioned at 3 o'clock, is used to adjust the central minute and hour hands, wind the watch and adjust the date. The crown shoulder protection is not there for mere aesthetics alone; it protects the crown from any shocks and guarantees perfect water resistance up to 300 meters. These are all essential attributes for following Guillaume down to the unfathomable deep. The brushed steel case comes with two dial versions: one completely black and the other white. Both versions are available on either a stainless steel bracelet or black rubber strap.

Today, more than ever, Ball Watch Company is continuing along its chosen path, confirming its role as a essential player in the exploration of modern time.
