Chopard Chopard embraces the China e-commerce era on JD.com

On August 16, 2017, with the Chinese Valentine’s Day approaching, Chopard launched a new e-commerce concept store on JD.com.

The concept store on JD.com - the leading e-commerce platform in China with 258 million active users -  will present Chopard’s craftsmanship and unique designs to Chinese consumers through a selection of iconic watch and jewellery creations. As the outcome of Chopard’s first step into the e-commerce circle of China, this collaboration not only creates a new marketing platform for the House apart from offline boutiques, but also offers novel shopping experience and committed services for a larger number of Chinese clients.

For its first project on JD.com, Chopard has selected some watch and jewellery creations from the well-received Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport, Mille Miglia and Classics collections. During the launch celebration, the House also specially offered two exclusive products – the “Happy Hearts” Red Bangle and the newly launched “Happy Ocean” timepiece. The Happy Hearts jewellery collection has been very popular in China since its launching. In the recent hit TV drama Ode to Joy Chopard China’s Friend-of-Brand, the actress Liu Tao, has worn her “Happy Hearts” bangle for many times and shown her appreciation for Chopard’s design. This contemporary yet exquisite jewellery collection depicts Liu’s character as a modern and elegant woman. The red Happy Hearts bangle represents the perfect gift for lovers on the Chinese Valentine’s Day.

Chopard customers will enjoy the high-end exclusive white-glove delivery service, JD Luxury Express, recently introduced by JD.com. Customers in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu will be able to receive their purchases within hours, hand-delivered by a specially trained, elegantly dressed, white-glove clad JD delivery person driving an electric vehicle.
