Prix de Lausanne 2018 - Emile Chouriet
For the second year in a row, Emile Chouriet is supporting the Prix de Lausanne, which will be held from January 29 to February 3, 2018.

Created in 1973, the Prix de Lausanne is an annual international competition for young dancers aged 14 to 19. Its goal is to discover, promote and support the finest talents. The competition brings together the most exciting talent from the new generation. The nine professionals on this year’s panel have shortlisted 78 candidates from 380 young dancers from 38 different countries. The final, to be held on February 3rd at the Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne, will be held before an audience of 1800 and will be broadcast on ARTE to take the event to audiences far beyond the Swiss border.

Just like the Prix de Lausanne, Emile Chouriet has deep roots in the region and is world renowned. It is founded upon watchmaking expertise that has evolved with the generations and makes timepieces for export to new horizons in its Genevan factory.

Emile Chouriet also attaches a great deal of importance to knowledge transfer and trains many young watchmakers at its factory to give them the skills they need to maintain the high standard of its watches.

The idea to support the Prix de Lausanne and financially contribute to a young dancer’s training comes from the shared values which are refinement, rigour and the transmission of a passion (read our article). This drive has become a source of great pride as Emile Chouriet is now one of this major competition’s partners.
