Baume & Mercier offers Promesse Awards to Rebecca Hall and Violante Placido at TaorminaFilmFest.

At the second Awards Ceremony of the 62° edition of TaorminaFilmFest , Baume & Mercier offered “PromesseTaormina Award” to two talentuous actresses : Rebecca Hall and Violante Placido.

Rebecca Hall is a British-American actress. In 2003, she won the Ian Charleson Award for her debut stage performance in a production of Mrs. Warren's Profession. She has appeared in the films The Prestige, Vicky Cristina Barcelona (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe), The Town, Frost/Nixon, Iron Man 3, Transcendence, and The Gift. She recently appeared in The BFG, a 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg.
Rebecca Hall received a Promesse Watch, the iconic collection for women. This 30 mm-diameter polished steel watch is distinguished by an oval bezel enhanced by 30 finely set diamondsand a white mother-of-pearl dial with “drapé” decor combining Roman numerals and indexes for a pure, refined aesthetic.

Violante Placido is an Italian actress and singer. She is the daughter of actor-director Michele Placido and actress Simonetta Stefanelli. In 2010, she appeared alongside George Clooney in the drama-thriller The American. She also played Nadya in the 2012 film Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, a sequel to the 2007 film Ghost Rider, both based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name.
Violante Placido received a Petite Promesse. Novelty 2016 of the Promesse Collection, this model, partially set with diamonds,  features a blue wrap around strap.
