The Gombessa IV expedition of Laurent Ballesta is currently taking place in the southern pass of Fkarava atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere reserve in French Polynesia. The study is based on the findings of the 2014 Gombessa II expedition on the reproduction phenomena of the grouper.
