International recognition for Margot - Christophe Claret
Christophe Claret has finished 2014 with a flourish. Margot, its first timepiece specifically developed for women – claimed first prize at three international award ceremonies.

Margot picked up the Ladies’ High-Mech prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in Switzerland, the Best Ladies’ watch prize at the Tiempo de Relojes awards at the SIAR watch fair in Mexico, and the prize for Best Ladies’ timepiece in the Watch of the Year awards organized by respected Polish watch website Chronos24.pl.

In each of these contests, Margot was competing against ladies' watches created by other prestigious brands. However, Margot managed to charm the respective juries thanks to the delightful, playful way in which it marries high-precision watchmaking with amorous emotion. After all, who hasn’t ever picked the petals off a daisy to discover how their sweetheart feels about them? On Margot’s dial, the classic conundrum “He loves me… he loves me not” comes to life.

Margot’s feminine gold case has a curved profile to fit even the most slender wrists perfectly, while its automatic winding movement features an enchantingly innovative complication enabling the wearer ‘pick’ the petals off a daisy on the dial: “He loves me… he loves me not”... With each press of the pusher at 2 o’clock, one or two of the 12 white, satin-lacquered titanium petals randomly disappears under the dial, depicting the delicate undressing of the flower...

Margot is now available through Christophe Claret’s worldwide network of retailer and distribution partners.
