WopArt, organised under the auspices of the City of Lugano, will offer a fascinating journey through the history of art, going into techniques and languages that characterise works created on the medium of paper alone: from technical design to modern printing, the artist's book to fine art photography, watercolours to oriental prints.
The Wopart programme will also include a series of events, including "Art Conversations" and "Artist Talk", which will involve artists, art critics and historians, collectors and representatives of the international art market.
In addition to the works on display, guests and visitors will also have the chance to admire some of the Swiss watchmaker’s most representative collections – such as the iconic Chrono 4, Extra-fort and 8 Jours - and discover the latest creations, particularly the new Scafograf 300: a mechanical self-winding diving watch, a reinterpretation of the Scafograf collection first launched in the ’50s, which is water resistant to 300m.
