The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) has evaluated 86 brands according to 28 criteria across seven areas to establish what it calls a "perimeter" of fine watchmaking brands. A total of 64 brands made the grade and they are listed below in four different categories determined by the FHH.
