Chaplin’s World By Grévin is scheduled to open on 16 April 2016 and will open to the public on 17 April 2016 at 10.00, in celebration of the 127the anniversary of the birth of Charlie Chaplin. Located at Corsier-sur-Vevey, the place of residence of Charlie Chaplin and his family for the last 25 years of his life, Chaplin’s World is an entertaining museum designed by the Confino agency and curated By Grévin to immerse visitors in the intimate and Hollywood life of Charlie Chaplin, allowing them to learn more about the man and the artist: Charlie and Charlot. With 3,000 m2 of themed exhibitions, the Manoir de Ban and hits Hollywood studio will illustrate the humour and emotion that were so dear to Charlie Chaplin and which captivated the entire world. Chaplin’s World is the fourth entertainment location developed by Grévin around the world.
As a partner of Chaplin’s World, Jaeger-LeCoultre pays tribute to the immense talent of Charlie Chaplin, with whom the Joux Valley brand has a special history with the Memovox watch which was presented to him by the Canton of Vaud when he arrived in Switzerland. This mechanical watch was carefully looked after by the family and now acts as a memory of a special period.
