On February 23, Panerai’s CEO Jean-Marc Pontroué hosted a private dinner presented by world-renowned Chef Massimo Bottura and Chef Enrique Olvera in honor of Alfonso Cuarón and his film, Roma, which won respectively the Oscar for the Best Director and the Oscar for the Best Foreign Language Film and for the Best Cinematography.
The dinner took place at Roger and Leslie Birnbaum’s Beverly Hills residence, where 40 guests enjoyed a multi-course menu prepared by chefs Bottura and Olvera, delivering the ultimate never-before-seen Italo-Mexican delectable feast. Panerai is proud to partner with the chef Massimo Bottura, a friend of the brand, to support, honor and celebrate Alfonso Cuarón and his amazing film Roma.”
In addition, each guest received a personalized piece of art by world-renowned artist, JR, which featured the now iconic image of Yalitza Aparicio from Roma. The evening carried on with cocktails, laughter and an impromptu speech from Cuarón, thanking Panerai for hosting this special celebration dinner with his closest family and friends.
