Breguet The boutique in Taiwan travels the world
In August, Breguet organized three events in Taiwan around the escapade and travel thematic.
Breguet launched in 2011 its high-end travel watch Classique Hora Mundi. Its teams needed three years to design and develop this complication watch, first mechanical timepiece with an instant-jump time-zone display. The dial of the watch is available in three versions – each representing one part of the world: Asia and Oceania, the European and African continents, and the Americas.
In August, Breguet consecutively organized three events around the escapade and travel thematic in Taiwan. Some hand-picked guests were given the opportunity to take part to a series of lectures in the Taipei 101 Breguet boutique. Prestigious speakers presented a typical aspect of each continent engraved on the dials of the Classique Hora Mundi. On Saturday, August 17, the first focus was put on Asia and its traditional architectural art. Guests then discovered the most famous European wine-making regions before being taken to Latin America last Saturday.
Breguet’s archives, kept in Switzerland and in Paris, record the developments that have sustained Breguet watchmaking for more than two centuries. The firm is committed to remaining ahead of its time with a flow of inventions and improvements.Find out more >
