Breguet The tourbillons delight Baden-Baden
An exceptional exhibition of the Breguet Grandes Complications with Tourbillon was set up in the Tourbillon boutique in Baden-Baden, Germany.
Over 200 years ago, while many watchmakers were trying to find a solution to overcome the negative effects of gravity on the performance of watches, Breguet invented the Tourbillon and created at the same time one of its most beautiful complication.
In the 1980s, the Tourbillon was given a second lease on life in the form of a wristwatch. It adorns nowadays many timepieces which pay tribute to the ingenuity of the brand each time they are displayed. Simple, extra-thin, flying, set with diamonds or with fusee, the different Tourbillons of Breguet captivated the visitors.
Breguet’s archives, kept in Switzerland and in Paris, record the developments that have sustained Breguet watchmaking for more than two centuries. The firm is committed to remaining ahead of its time with a flow of inventions and improvements.Find out more
