After the warm welcome given to its complication watches during their journey through Vietnam and Thailand, Christophe Claret met with collectors at various dinners held at the end of September. A first dinner organized by QP Magazine took place in Hanoi, Vietnam. It was followed by two dinners in Bangkok, Thailand, including one organized by IamWatch magazine.
Among the models presented was the X-TREM-1 – of which two new versions were unveiled at Baselworld 2016 – which proved a great hit with guests: this timepiece is equipped with a retrograde hours and minutes display system made by two spheres, which mysteriously move thanks to magnetic fields. For these two new versions, white or 5N red gold and damascened steel, produced using ancestral methods, were the metals chosen to make the case.
