A decade ago, DeLaneau decided to break new horological ground by making the first ever tourbillon wristwatch designed specifically for women. The Brand now unveils a new version, in a round case.

The Rondo Tourbillon Great Bear Constellation features a 42mm white gold case set with 74 baguette-cut blue sapphires and 114 diamonds and a diamond-embedded crown. The gold dial has a Aventurine centre showing the Great Bear constellation made of 55 diamonds and 139 blue sapphires.

This unique piece is equipped with a Tourbillon mechanical movement set with 21 diamonds. It is worn on a fabric strap with white gold deploying buckle set with 24 diamonds.
Total of approx. 8.61 carats.

Rondo Translucent Champagne

The Rondo Translucent Champagne watch features a 36mm red gold case set with 272 diamonds and a diamond-embedded crown. The hand guilloche dial is decorated with Transparent enamel, a technique developped in DeLaneau's Atelier by its artisans. As the name suggests, it combines the strength of a single colour with the power of light to produce an appearance of remarkable and understated beauty.

Before the enamel is applied, the dial of each Translucent dial is decorated with an underlying guilloche pattern created by master engravers. After this, the dial is in-house Grand Feu enameled in a painstaking process which ensures absolute uniformity of colour and depth but which still allows the pattern to refract light to create a unique effect.

Once the required finish is achieved, the dial is laser-drilled at the 12 o'clock position to enable the setting of a single, flat, precious stone. This serves as the DeLaneau signature on a dial. On the Rondo Translucent Champagne, the precious stone is a navette-cut diamond.

The watch is animated by an automatic movement. It is worn on a lizard strap equipped with a red gold tongue buckle set with 24 diamonds.
Total of approx. 3.72 carats.
