On the eve of its 20th anniversary, the GPHG is announcing the upcoming creation of an Academy of the profession. This major initiative, entirely in line with its unifying mission and supported by the city and canton of Geneva, will constitute a vast network of ambassadors who will take part in the various stages of watch selection and contribute to the worldwide promotion of the watchmaking art. The Academy will be operational in spring 2020.
The first official presentation of this Academy will be held at 11am on Friday November 22nd at Christie's auction room – Dubai Watch Week.
In addition, you will be able to discover the 18 prize-winning watches from the 2019 edition of the GPHG at The Gate Building - DIFC.
During this presentation, taht will be held in the presence of Abdul Hamied Seddiqi (Vice-chairman of Seddiqi Holding) and Melika Hossein Yazdjerdi (Directror of the Dubai Watch Week), Raymond Loretan (President of the GPHG) et Carine Maillard (Director of the GPHG) will speak.
