A first Baselworld exclusive, 15 great prizes to win and your questions already answered.

It’s been a hard day’s night
“The watch industry is in crisis!” the pessimists cry. They accuse watch brands of having their heads in the sand, of missing the smart watch wave. In short, they foretell impending doom. Let’s face it, the global economy in general is not in fantastic shape, but that didn’t stop Bugatti unveiling a €2.3 million euro hypercar (and Parmigiani a concept watch to match it) at last week’s Geneva Motor Show. The negative refrain is something that Raymond Weil probably heard as well when he launched his brand in 1976, right at the start of the quartz crisis (see my editorial today).

« Ce mois-ci, gagnez une montre Eterna pour dames »

When I was younger

And yet its is precisely Raymond Weil, still going strong 40 years later, that ushers in this year’s Baselworld to the beat of one of the world’s biggest-ever bands. The music-loving brand brings us the first official Beatles watch. Be among the first to see it on our homepage right now.

Please Mr Postman
Our competitions are always popular. While you still have the chance to win an Ernest Borel watch until the end of this month, what better day than tomorrow, 15th March, to start a series of 15 daily competitions celebrating the 15th anniversary of Worldtempus. As always, we have some great prizes up for grabs and the answers to the questions can be found on our site. In this case the questions will be linked to the latest announcements during Baselworld and we may even give you some hints for the tougher questions.

Help me if you can
