Perrelet is taking part in this upscale event for the fifth time, presenting its 2015 collections to a public composed of watchmaking devotees, with highlight on First Class Double Rotor Skeleton 20 Years and Diamond Flower Amytis, two brand new collections both equipped with the famous Double Rotor, the emblematic Perrelet patented invention, that celebrates in 2015 its anniversary.
Perrelet takes the Double Rotor to new peaks of refinement, in this limited series specifically produced to celebrate the 20th birthday of its invention. The collection features two original timepieces in which every detail showcases the brand’s expertise. Framed by a 42.5 mm-diameter stainless steel or 18K (4N) rose gold case, the 18K (4N) Double Rotor features a brand-new design adorned with the Côtes de Genève motif and a special engraving to mark this jubilee. This First Class Double Rotor Skeleton with its pure, restrained lines – issued in two limited editions of 250 for the steel version and 77 for the rose gold version – fully reflects the horological expertise.
Perrelet enriches its ladies’ Diamond Flower line with a new model named Diamond Flower Amytis: a collection designed “by women for women” and which combines a unique technique with brilliant expertise. This name evoking ancient history is inspired by the story of the hanging gardens of Babylon. The timepieces are equipped with the Double Rotor P-181-H caliber, patented by Perrelet and entirely produced within its manufacture. In this collection, the rotor on the dial side depicts flower petals swaying in step with wrist movements. Each woman becomes actively involved in the poetic dynamics of her watch through her physical gestures. The mother-of-pearl, diamond, black, white or anthracite dials offer an array of colors and contrasts that will accompany every woman in her daily life. Roman numerals converging towards the center add a final touch of character and originality to this collection.
The SIAR will host over 25 watch brands and will be welcoming more than 2800 visitors and 200 representatives of local and international press. In the presence of many CEO of exhibitor brands, the Swiss ambassador in Mexico, Mr. Louis José Touron, will inaugurate the 9th edition of Latin America’s most important watch fair.
