The Queen's Cup saw some of the biggest names in polo, as well as a number of illustrious guests, converge on the Queen's Ground at Guards Polo Club, Windsor Great Park last weekend.

The day's proceedings started with the Band of the Grenadier Guards taking to to field and forming a figure 30 to celebrate Cartier's 30 years of sponsorship at the Guards Polo Club.

Later came the highlight of the day as the teams Talandracas and Zacara battled for the Queen's Cup, the culmination of three weeks of top-level polo action, in front of Her Majesty The Queen.

Against expectations, it was Zacara that won the cup, after taking a dominant 6-2 lead by half-time and finishing 10-7 by the close.

Zacara patron Lyndon Lea took the podium to receive the winner's trophy from HM The Queen.
