The Miami Design District is the place to be for fans of luxury this coming weekend. Miami Watches & Wonders will showcase the best new products from leading luxury watch brands and the best independent manufacturers. At the same time the Miami Yacht Show will bring together around 500 yachts from the world’s leading manufacturers and brokers. For car fans, the Miami Concours will showcase rare vintage and sports cars over the President’s Day weekend.

Among the highlights of Watches & Wonders, Piaget will be displaying its record-breaking Altiplano Concept timepiece, the thinnest in the world. Dior will unveil a new personalization service for its Dior Grand Bal watch, allowing customers to design their own made-to-measure timepiece. Hublot will have artwork on display throughout the weekend from renowned artist, Michael Moebius. Jaeger-LeCoultre will showcase their expertise in various traditional crafts. In addition to showcasing their new X Collection, designed to appeal to a younger clientele, Ulysse Nardin will also be presenting a world exclusive at the show.

There will be new exhibitors and new product debuts and the FHH is also expanding conference and workshop offerings for the 2019 edition. A total of five panel discussions will be held over the course of the weekend and include topics such as ‘Can Women Save the Watch World?’, ‘What’s the Point of Watch Creation?’ and ‘Getting Your Super Collector All-Access Pass.’ Expert panelists will include collectors, executives from premier luxury brands and auction houses, major retailers and top journalists. Three workshops each a day will offer attendees an opportunity to assemble and disassemble watch movements.

Watches & Wonders Miami also offers the first chance to see the exhibition of 60 photos from the inaugural edition of the Watch Photo Awards, which attracted over 1,000 entrants. This photography competition dedicated to owners of mechanical timepieces starts its second year this month on the theme of white. Visit the awards website for more information on how to enter.
