This fifth edition of the vintage car rally, Passione Engadina, took place from August 19th to 21st, in St. Moritz, Switzerland. focusing this year on Alfa Romeo, this rally is distinctive for its passion and heritage, since a number of the teams are father/son and father/daughter duos.
The winning teams in each of the five categories (cars manufactured before 1945; from 1946 to 1960; from 1961 to 1970; from 1971 to 1980; and sportscars) were given generous awards by Baume & Mercier. Each driver received a Capeland Flyback Passione Engadina timepiece, while each co-driver was awarded an elegant Baume & Mercier desk clock.
As a supporter and avid follower of the young new generation, Baume & Mercier also wished to present each of the nine "juniors" of this rally with a gift as symbolic as it is appropriate: a Classima bearing the engraving "Passione Engadina" followed by the name of the participant. The young ladies received a women's quartz steel Classima watch, featuring a fresh violet alligator strap (Ref. 10224), while the young men were awarded a men's Classima equipped with a black alligator strap (Ref.10097).
