Cartier 35th edition of the "Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz"
Each year top international players come face to face at altitudes of 1800 m during the "Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz".
St. Moritz saw Grant Ganzi make his début as Cartier’s team captain. He was accompanied by his father Marc Ganzi, the newest member of the team. Tito Gaudenzi, and polo superstar Juan Martin Nero, nine-time winner of the Argentine Open and among the world's top three players played alongside them.
It was a battle which saw not only Badrutt’s Palace secure the top podium position for the first time in 35 years, against Maserati Team. But also Melissa Ganzi, Badrutt’s Team Captain, make history as the first lady player to win the tournament.
Characterised by audacity and inventiveness, Cartier’s watchmaking history reflects a unique state of mind: “jeweller of kings and king of jewellers”. Its renown is bound up in the tradition of excellence to which it is heir. Cartier was a forerunner in the use of platinum in jewellery and one of the pioneers of watchmaking.Find out more >
