The 6th round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 6 Hours of Shanghai, took place at Shanghai International Circuit on November 1st and 2nd, 2014. Supporting Porsche Motorsport as Official Timing Partner since the beginning of this season, Chopard has been following the teams with great expectations of victory. At the 6 Hours of Shanghai, the two Porsche 919 Hybrid cars entered the LMP1 class race, and finished third and sixth. The two Porsche 911 RSR cars took part in the LMGTE Pro class race and finished in first and second positions, an important success for Porsche GTE Team in front of 45 000 spectators.
Created in 2004 to become a reference, this very recent racetrack is acknowledged for being the best example of the new Millenary circuit. With impressive installations striding over the finishing line, it was designed to maximize spectator viewing and racing excitement.
