Chronoswiss sponsored for the first time the Alpine Rally in Kitzbühel which took place from June 1st until June 4th.

After just under 500 kilometres through breathtakingly beautiful Alpine landscapes, countless arduous tests, plentiful sunshine and a little rain, the happy winner out of a total of 187 cars was decided: Burkhart Müller with his co-pilot Fabian Mohr in a Mercedes-Benz 250 SL Pagode built in 1967. As the overall winner in the Sport class, he received a Chronoswiss timepiece: the Sirius Regulator Rallye Limited Edition, which has been created especially for the event. Only 29 exclusive copies will be sold worldwide to mirror the 29 years of the Alpine rally.

The automatic Regulator with the sporty Rally wrist strap was presented by Tagesschau's chief presenter, Jan Hofer. The ARD anchorman, who has been a huge fan of the brand for many years, lined up for the Alpine rally in his Austin Healey 3000 from 1966 to represent the Chronoswiss team. Oliver Ebstein, CEO and owner of Chronoswiss, also took part for the same team and was able to gain his first Rally experience in a historic vehicle: brand founder Gerd-Rüdiger Lang was unable to take part himself, but very generously loaned Oliver his elegant, cream-coloured, 164 HP Jaguar MK II.
