90 years of Scuderia Ferrari and of the Monaco Grand Prix

Before honouring its role as the Official Watch of Scuderia Ferrari during the forthcoming Monaco Grand Prix, Hublot opened a new boutique in the Principality.

Hublot is maintaining its momentum in the Principality with a new Hublot boutique replaces the former premises based at 2 Avenue Princesse Alice. In the ideal setting of the Allée François Blanc, on the Place du Casino, close to the quays and jetties, this new site also flanks the route of the 77th Grand Prix, and naturally, played host to local talent Charles Leclerc during its inauguration. Supported – like his team-mate Sébastian Vettel – by Hublot, the Scuderia Ferrari driver cut the ribbon alongside the brand's CEO Ricardo Guadalupe to mark the official opening.

A sublime expression of the brand's signature codes, the boutique takes Hublot's new architectural concept and makes it its own, within one of the Principality's most iconic buildings. Mirrors, glass, marble and metal combine to create a harmonious showcase with urban accents. Set over 40 square metres, the soft light and generous furnishings ensure the new Hublot Monaco boutique is warm and welcoming: the perfect surroundings for its customers!

Combining luxury with contemporary, this boutique embodies the famous Hublot maxim, the "Art of Fusion". This philosophy not only enables the brand to switch from marble to metal, but also from Formula 1 to the beautiful game, since Hublot is also the Official Timekeeper for the World Stars Monaco Football Match which took place on May 21st at the Stade Louis II, attended by HSH Prince Albert II.

To celebrate ninety years both of Ferrari and since the Monaco Grand Prix was first raced in 1929, Hublot, a long-standing partner of Scuderia Ferrari, has created the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary. This model reflects the richness of Scuderia Ferrari's history and heritage. It is available in three limited editions, designed in collaboration with the Prancing Horse brand's own Design Centre. These pieces echo the evolution of the materials used in motor racing over the years. Each of the versions has a diameter of 45 mm, enabling the UNICO manufacture movement to be housed; this flyback chronograph offers a power reserve of 72 hours. The bezel is cut from ceramic carbon, the material used in Formula 1 for the brake discs.
