Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronographe Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2016
For the fourth consecutive year, Hublot is the Official Timekeeper of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud. To celebrate this 78th edition, the brand presents a 78-piece numbered limited watch.
As Official Timekeeper of the 2016 Bol d’Or Mirabaud for the fourth consecutive year, Hublot is confirming its passion for sailing and its fondness for the Lake Geneva region.
Every year, more than 500 boats take their place at the starting line of the Port Noir in Geneva, ready to race the 66.5 nautical miles, facing the whims of the winds. To delight the thousands of spectators, the iconic race will begin on Saturday 11 June 2016 at 10:00, with the competitors tackling the 123 kilometres of the course Port Noir-Bouveret-Port Noir.
To celebrate this 78th edition, Hublot is unveiling a 78-piece numbered limited watch. Inspired by the codes of sailing and showcasing the blue colours of Lake Geneva, the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph 2016 Bol d’Or Mirabaud will be sure to win over sportspeople looking for a touch of chic, with its skeleton dial and its carbon fibre bezel. This high-tech material is particularly prized by sportspeople, renowned for its lightness, impact resistance and instantly recognisable design. The case of this Classic Fusion is made from black ceramic, and the technical fabric strap is stitched onto blue rubber. The use of the materials carbon fibre, ceramic, technical fabric and rubber embodies the principle of the Art of Fusion, which is so dear to Hublot.
From the outset, Hublot has embodied design and innovation that differ markedly from the established watchmaking order. With the impetus provided by Jean-Claude Biver, by 2004 these values had already become the basis of a new DNA, leading the brand to develop particularly audacious timepieces – most of them with a highly-developed sporting aspect.Find out more >
