The third annual edition of the Hublot Polo Cup Ascona, held on the shores of the Lake Maggiore in Switzerland, was on Hublot time. The magnificent tournament was held from the 17th to the 19th July in the Swiss lakeside resort famed for its Lido, promenades, beautiful villas and luxury hotels.
Having previously welcomed teams from India and Russia, this year's tournament had a distinctly Brazilian flavour. A carnival atmosphere, a sea of green and yellow, and numerous events. For the first time, the "Players Party" was organised on the Ile de Brissago, with a yacht used to transport the guests and VIPs.
Hublot, which is already involved with prestigious polo tournaments across the world, is associated with Ascona for the third year running, as Headline Sponsor and Official Timekeeper.
