Longines is Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of this event taking place at the Champ de Mars from 5 to 7 July 2018 and bringing together the best riders and horses in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Longines presented the press with the programme for the 2018 Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, which will take place from 5 to 7 July 2018. This competition, the tenth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, will bring together the best international riders and horses onto the Champ de Mars, with the emblematic Eiffel Tower in the background. Once again, the Swiss watch brand lends its name to this great five-star show jumping event and provides its timekeeping expertise for all the trials. For this fifth edition, Longines will invite spectators to enjoy a timeless moment riding its Carousel located in the Grand Village, open to the public.

In addition, the winged hourglass brand presents the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris. This competition allows the riders to earn points in the overall rankings of the Longines Global Champions Tour and thus obtain a golden ticket for the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, which will be held in December in Prague.

Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Longines Ambassador of Elegance, will attend the event and will wear the Official Watch for the event, a ladies' model from The Blue Edition of The Longines Master Collection. This steel timepiece displays a sunray blue dial adorned with diamond indexes, and comes with a matching blue alligator strap. This fashionable chromatic variation is perfectly in line with the classic and understated spirit of this collection.

This year for the first time, Longines will be the Title Partner of the Longines Eiffel Challenge. This competition, held in presence of the Minister of Culture Françoise Nyssen, will be for the benefit of the “Mission Bern” which aims at restoring the French heritage related to the watchmaking and equestrian world. The French President Emmanuel Macron has entrusted this mission to the radio host and television presenter Stéphane Bern, known for his passion for history.

As the brand takes pride in its long tradition of supporting charity causes, it was thus natural for it to also give support to JustWorld International – a charity organisation that collects funds to help impoverished children – through the “Longines Clear The Jump” action, which will take place during Saturday evening's highlight trial: The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris. Each time a horse and rider clears a Longines obstacle with no faults, the winged hourglass brand will offer 200 meals to the association. True to its slogan “Elegance is an Attitude”, Longines will take this opportunity to salute the heartfelt elegance that JustWorld has demonstrated over the years.
