The Irish rider Bertram Allen won the “Longines Grand Prix of Switzerland” in St. Gallen with Hector van D’Abdijhoeve. He was followed by Richard Howley (Ireland) with Chinook on the second and Paul Estermann from Switzerland with Lord Pepsi on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch from the brand’s President Walter von Känel.

Belgian rider Catherine van Roosbroeck won the Longines Trophy, awarded to the best rider of the whole event, and was also honoured with a Longines watch.

The Official Watch of this year’s Longines CSIO St. Gallen is an elegant ladies model set with diamonds of The Longines Equestrian Collection, created as an allegory of the equestrian world. This timepiece repeats the lines of the rectangular buckle found on the show bridle of the only Swiss horse breed, the Franches-Montagnes. This horse is native to the historical Swiss Jura area, a region that is dear to the winged hourglass brand since it is also the region where Longines was founded
