For the delight of a crowd of enthusiastic race fans in attendance, the Longines Hong Kong International Races showcased stunning performances from some of the world’s best race horses and jockeys.

Year after year, the Longines Hong Kong International Races illustrate the perfect blend of sport excellence and great refinement, resulting in the most exciting climax of the international horseracing year. The four international Group 1 races were claimed by Satono Crown ridden by Joao Moreira (Longines Hong Kong Vase), Aerovelocity led by Zac Purton (Longines Hong Kong Sprint), who also won the Longines Hong Kong Mile aboard Beauty Only, and Maurice ridden by Ryan Moore (Longines Hong Kong Cup). As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the event, Longines presented the winning owners, trainers and jockeys of these featured races with elegant Longines timepieces.

For the third consecutive year, the Swiss watch brand organised the Longines Prize for Elegance, which rewards the lady with the most stylish look. Earlier that day, the brand officially inaugurated its newest boutique at Hollywood Plaza, raising its current total number of boutiques in Hong Kong to 17.

In addition to the Official Watch of the Longines Hong Kong International Races, a model from The Longines Master Collection, the event was also the opportunity for the brand to highlight a new lady model from The Equestrian Collection in its exhibition booth located at Sha Tin racecourse. This timepiece belongs to a collection designed as an allegory of the equestrian world and is dedicated to female equestrian sports lovers. The watch is inspired by the rectangular buckle on the show bridle of the only Swiss horse breed, the Franches-Montagnes.
