The Prix de Diane Longines, of which Longines was the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper for the 9th consecutive year, saw the victory of Channel and Pierre-Charles Boudot (FR) in the world’s biggest race for fillies. The brand presented the owner, trainer and jockey of Channel with elegant timepieces from the hands of its Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker. With no fewer than nine races to rhythm this prestigious and glamorous event, the Prix de Diane Longines offered great sports emotions. Longines was part of the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars and the Prix de la Reine Marie-Amélie Longines. The former is open to young jockey from riding schools across the world, while the latter showcases the female riders from the FEGENTRI (International Federation of Gentlemen and Lady Riders). French jockey Thomas Trullier riding Espionne set themselves apart in the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars and Tereza Grbavcicova (CZE) and her mount Bubble Brook crossed the finishing line first in the Prix de La Reine Marie-Amélie Longines. The brand granted both winners with an elegant Longines watch as well as a school bursary to the youngest winner.

On the occasion of the 170th edition of this equestrian rendezvous of elegance, the Chantilly racecourse was adorned with colourful motifs of racing silks. Together with its Partner France Galop, Longines organized the “Mademoiselle Diane by Longines” award, celebrating the most elegant lady at the racecourse. This year, Abigail Lopez-Cruz was selected by the jury as the winner and received an elegant timepiece belonging to the Record collection from the hands of Simon Baker.

The Prix de Diane Longines was also the occasion for the brand to present a stainless steel and rose gold model of its Record collection as the Official Watch of the event. Combining classic elegance and watchmaking excellence, each piece in this line houses a movement including a single-crystal silicon balance spring with unique properties and is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

Besides, this collection was celebrated on Saturday evening, during a special event held in the gardens of the Château de Chantilly in the presence of Longines Ambassadors of Elegance and Hollywood stars Kate Winslet and Simon Baker. During this event, Longines highlighted – on the wrists of its Ambassadors – a stainless steel and rose gold pair watch from the Record collection, which is perfectly in line with the philosophy of the brand to give its female and male customers a wide range of variations in all of its collections, enabling them to find the perfect fit for their taste and personality.
