On the agenda this week: interviews, the Euro 2016, Carl F. Bucherer’s new premises and a new competition of the month, not to mention our summer competition which is entering its third week.

Our Editor returns from a fortnight’s holiday this week and not a moment too soon! While he was away, his homeland, England, exited both the Euro and Europe…

« Ce mois-ci, gagnez une montre Eterna pour dames »

While last week featured encounters with Christian Lattmann, appointed to the position of CEO at Jaquet Droz and with Jean Depéry, CEO of Emile Chouriet, as well as reporting from the incredible Extreme Sailing Series with HYT and Alinghi in Cardiff, this week promises to be every bit as dynamic.

The programme includes today’s account of the inauguration of Carl F. Bucherer’s new Manufacture in Lengnau, shared by Michèle Brunner after her onsite visit; a detailed look at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s balance springs; an interview with Eric Abidal whose Foundation is supported by Zenith; not to mention a chat with that most romantic of watchmakers, Christophe Claret, to whom we owe the poetic Margot.

The final week of the European Football Championships will provide football fans with a chance to learn a little more about the celebrities, ambassadors and friends involved with Hublot, official timekeeper for the UEFA EURO 2016. This includes a look at the career of José Mourinho – nicknamed The Special One – as well as that of Italian referee, Nicola Rizzoli. Finally, Friday will bring an article from Brice Lechevalier, who met with Hublot’s CEO Ricardo Guadelupe to discuss the highlights and first results of this sponsorship.

Our summer competition has entered its third week. You can try your hand at winning a golden football offered by Carl F. Bucherer; a passport holder along with two Wolf Est. 1834 T-shirts; Raymond Weil beach shorts; four places for the Gstaad Ladies’ Championship (July 12th to 17th) donated by Hysek; a publication gifted by Watchprint entitled “Moonwatch Only”; a pack of cleaning solutions for watches and jewellery from Eaux du Joailliers; and as of today, a magnificent numbered silkscreen by Laurent Ferrier. And don’t forget our new competition of the month in which you could win a Reuge music box. Good luck, everyone!
