New partner - Favre-Leuba
WorldTempus is happy to welcome Favre-Leuba as a new partner.

Favre-Leuba is the second-oldest Swiss watch brand and traces its origins to the workshop of Abraham Favre in Le Locle, which was first officially mentioned in 1737.
The brand is a family story, with several generations of Favre at its head, the association with Auguste Leuba, and a marriage in 1855 that united the two names Favre-Leuba. In 1865, Favre-Leuba is the first Swiss watch manufacturer to be launched in India, a country that soon became one of the brand’s most important markets. After difficult post-war years, Favre-Leuba suffered from the quartz crisis and the eighth generation of the family was forced to sell the company in the 1980’s. It subsequently changed hands several times and was eventually acquired by India’s Tata Group in November 2011. Favre-Leuba is now managed by experienced industry professional Thomas Morf.

"Conquering Frontiers", following new paths and challenging the status quo is Favre-Leuba’s philosophy. The society puts it into practice through its utilitarian tool watches that add value to people’s lives, even in the harshest conditions, on land and also under water.

Consider for example the Raider collection, and its flagship model Bivouac 9000, the only wristwatch capable of measuring altitudes up to 9,000 metres by purely mechanical means using an aneroid barometer, or the Harpoon diving watch with its ingenious display. Favre-Leuba also addresses women, with its Sea Bird model, among others, and those who appreciate more classic watches, with its Chief collection.
