This book offers a fabulous history of Zenith since its creation in 1865, in the heart of the Swiss watchmaking basin : an unprecedented sum for all watch lovers !
Since its inception, Zenith has produced more than 10 million watches, invented more than 500 movements and accumulated more than 2333 prizes - a world record.
Competing in the field of precision during multiple chronometer competitions organized by the astronomical observatories, by 1898, Zenith had already established itself as a leader in the field of precision. Carried by the time, the factory recruited and trained the finest watchmaking specialists and masters. Taking the high ground rewards to stop the contest in 1968, it created the surprise in 1969 by inventing the first chronograph with automatic winding and integrated high frequency of history.

Unlike many other houses, Zenith remained a factory. It celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2015. Its rich history is that of course watches, but also through that of the new art, travel, armed and aviation...
All in all, Zenith is the history of the infinitely small and the infinitely short thanks to Blaise Pascal who, ironically, was the first man to wear the watch on his wrist.

The book is available in French and English and can be ordered online.
