Spotlight on Breguet’s Feminine Timepieces in San Francisco - Breguet
Breguet recently celebrated its ladies’ timepiece collection during a private event at the Tourbillon Boutique in San Francisco.

The evening featured an expansive selection of women’s mechanical watches especially from Breguet’s Reine de Naples collection, famous for its homage to the Queen of Naples, Caroline Bonaparte Murat, for whom Abraham-Louis Breguet made the first watch in history designed to be worn on the wrist – thus creating the first wristwatch in the world.

A reproduction of the manufacturing registry was also displayed at the event where details of this famous creation finished in 1812 are visible. The archive indicates that this innovative watch had an oblong case, a feature shared by all Reine de Naples family of watches.
