The Emile Chouriet brand was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1997. The brand name chosen by Jean Depéry was his way of paying tribute to Emile Chouriet, who was a watchmaker in Geneva in 1685, and, through him, his ancestor, François Dagobert Depéry.
