Belgian industrial Joris Ide announces the acquisition of the Swiss manufacturer of watches IMH and its fine watchmaking brand Julien Coudray 1518.

The initial shareholders of IMH, the French Européennes de Participations Industrielles (EPI) and a group of American investors have sold all their shares to Joris Ide. Fabien Lamarche will continue to run the company he founded in 2007.

Innovations Manufactures Horlogères SA (IMH) is located in Le Locle in Switzerland and specialises in the development and production of watches, movements, watch components and watchcases. With about thirty members of staff, IMH also counts several leading watchmakers among its clients. The brand Julien Coudray 1518 illustrates the knowhow of the manufacturer by combining science and art, technology and aesthetics.

At Julien Coudray 1518, every watchcase and its movement are produced from a single block of gold or platinum. In order to do so, IMH has conceived and produced new tools as well as revised the whole manufacturing process from A to Z.

With the acquisition of IMH, Joris Ide secures his position in the luxury world where he has been active since 2010 when he became the owner of the world-renowned gun manufacturer Lebeau-Courally of Liège. From now on, IMH will oversee the development, production and assembly of Lebeau-Courally watches while pursuing its present activities for the benefit of third parties as well as Julien Coudray 1518.
