Sales at two of the big watchmaking groups continue to grow as the industry overall stagnates

Results published last week by both the Swiss Watchmaking Federation and two of the big watchmaking groups (Swatch Group and LVMH) confirmed an increasing disparity. While exports grew by a meagre 1.9% overall, the two big groups published growth rates that were more than double this figure, suggesting that other brands must be feeling the pinch. Look out for our analysis of the top 10 watch markets worldwide later this week.
