WorldTempus celebrates Tiffany’s return watchmaking.

A long weekend was just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Baselworld. It was a time to do something that we should never allow our watches to do: unwind!

“Jean-Claude Biver is a genius of the industry who rightly merits a biography”

Paul O'Neil

Our first week back after Baselworld allowed us to reflect on some of the trends from the show, with Anita Khatri and David Chokron sharing their impressions and my first report coming in the form of an interview with Seiko’s Shu Yoshino, who presented the brand’s new Marinemaster diver’s watch and shared his thoughts on silicon components and smart watches.

Far from being an April Fool, the new competition published on 1st April to win a Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton watch is just another chance to win a great prize in our regular monthly competition.

Tiffany chose the next day for the global launch of its new watch collections. We are delighted that Tiffany also chose WorldTempus to announce its return to the watch business. You can find out more about the brand’s history and the new models on our new dedicated Tiffany page.

This week, Keith Strandberg will offer his take on the smart watch trend and we will undoubtedly hear more on the subject as Apple gears up to launch its watch on 24th April. After offering his personal preferences for this year’s new men’s and women’s watches, David Chokron presents his customary “bestiary” selection and I will be back with more interviews.

Happy Easter!
