H.E. Ryuhei MAEDA the Ambassador from Japan in Bern, his wife along with the 1st and 2nd secretary visited the Manufacture in Sainte-Croix.
Greeted by wonderful sunshine, the delegations visited all departments of the factory in detail and were extremely impressed. Japan is a key market for Reuge creations.
The special Reuge box commissioned by Classiques Alternances and designed by the Japanese artist Yatchi has been created especially for the 150th year anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland.
His Excellency and his team had the opportunity to have a sneak peak-preview of the new novelties Reuge will present at Basel. In particular the mechanical singing birds and the newly cages designed by Xavier Perrenoud Atelier XJC were greatly appreciated.
