Urban Jürgensen Sales operations regrouped and expanded
Personnel changes at the brand aim to help with continued expansion.
As Urban Jürgensen continues to develop its presence around the world through a carefully selected retail network, the company announces the arrival of two new key members of the Urban Jürgensen sales team.
COO and Global Head of Sales Mr. Hans Ryser (71) will soon retire after a long and successful career in the watch industry, but will remain closely connected to the company as an advisor, consultant and trainer.
Mr. Rafael Alvarez (42) joins Urban Jürgensen from a long tenure at Richemont Group. He is tasked with developing Urban Jürgensen´s presence as International Sales Director Europe and Americas.
Mr. Mirko Bertolucci (47) joins Urban Jürgensen from the Swatch Group, where he served in various functions, principally at Breguet for 12 years, and more recently as Global Head of Sales at Harry Winston. Mr. Bertolucci will be tasked with developing Urban Jürgensen’s presence as International Sales Director EMEA and Asia.
Both Mr. Alvarez and Mr. Bertolucci will report to the CEO and join the Urban Jürgensen Management team.
Mr. Jean-Philippe Chetelat, who has served as Director of Sales for Europe will leave the company in connection with the change.
