CEO interview - Julien Haenny - Anonimo
1 minute read
This spring, Julien Haenny launched Anonimo’s e-commerce site, with the assistance of WorldTempus. The CEO explains the reasoning behind this strategy.

Why did you choose WorldTempus to spotlight your e-commerce site?
Anonimo has been a partner of WorldTempus for several years, and there has been a real exchange of ideas and follow-up in terms of the actions our brand has initiated. It’s also important for us to have genuine support from well-known, recognised sites. In addition, WT has always remained at the cutting edge of new technologies, and this has been very helpful to us.

How does after-sales service work, for clients who buy watches through your website?
It’s the same as for our traditional retail network. We have a number of official service centres around the world, where our clients can send their watches. They are all listed on our website.

What are your expectations where e-commerce is concerned? Why did you decide to add this distribution channel?
Tradition retail is becoming a challenge in many international locations, even more so for a young brand still trying to build up recognition. Our e-shop provides a complementary service, but clients still often want to see the watch on their wrist, which is why it’s important to have brick-and-mortar retail partners. Nevertheless, our e-shop ensures we have a worldwide presence. With a brand like ours, and in the current retail climate, this kind of distribution network is becoming increasingly essential.

Are there any advantages for clients who opt for the e-shop route?
Yes, they can place pre-orders for limited editions, and they can also have their initials engraved free of charge. All our e-shop clients have a direct link to the brand, which means they have access to the latest news about our company and our special offers. The relationship is direct and personalised.

What have been your best-sellers over the last 12 months?
Four products stand out. First, the Nautilo Sailing limited edition of 300 in red and black, with two straps (this was the first Anonimo watch to bring back the NATO strap). In parallel, there is our Militare steel automatic with brown dial, the Nautilo bronze/DLC on a black rubber strap, and the Militare Chrono in bronze with a blue dial.
