Bovet 1822 Daniil Medvedev & Bovet 1822 announce their collaboration
The young Russian tennis player represents a sport whose values are also those of watchmaking, according to Mr. Raffy, owner of Bovet 1822.
On August 26th in New York, Bovet 1822 announced the new collaboration with worldwide tennis champion #5 ATP ranking Daniil Medvedev. Mr. Raffy, owner of Bovet 1822 said in one of his interviews: “Tennis is a sport that suits me particularly. The concepts of exchange and respect are very present whether opponents or partners with whom we play. It is this very notion of respect and human values that are fundamental within our link to the world of tennis and that we use in our communication strategy.”

ABOUT DANIIL MEDVEDEV
The 23-year old from Russia recently reached his career-high of World No 5. Daniil ﬁrst picked up a tennis racket at the age of 6 which led to a successful junior career where he peaked inside the top 15 at world #13. He went on to win his ﬁrst singles ATP event at the 2016 Ricoh Open, and in 2017 he reached his ﬁrst ATP singles ﬁnals at the Chennai Open. In 2018, Daniil won the Sydney International (becoming the youngest since Rafael Nadal in 2007) and ﬁnished the season with the most difficult match wins of any player on the ATP Tour.
2019 has without question been Daniil’s breakout year. He started the season by reaching the ﬁnal of the Brisbane International. He then won his 4th ATP title at the Soﬁa Open and went on to defeat World #1, Novak Djokovic in the quarterﬁnals of the Monte-Carlo Masters. The following week at the Barcelona Open, Medvedev earned his third successive top-10 victory to reach his ﬁrst ATP Tour ﬁnal on clay. He reached a second consecutive Masters ﬁnal at the Cincinnati Masters after beating defending champion Djokovic for the second time. Continuing to dominate and surprise the tennis world with his airtight groundstrokes, Daniil is primed to become a future Grand Slam Champion and leading superstar of the game.
