Pierre Jacques has just announced his departure from the brand he has been managing since 2011 with effect from the end of this year, within weeks of De Bethune confirming its presence in the new "Carré des Horlogers" at the SIHH in 2016.

"It has been a great chance, and honour, to take on the challenge of working for De Bethune," declared Pierre Jacques. "De Bethune is an amazing manufacturer whose products are renowned worldwide and requested by watch connoisseurs and collectors from all over the world. Founded in 2002, De Bethune creates luxury watches that are nowadays sold by the most prestigious retailers in the world as well as in the Geneva boutique. I'm proud to have contributed to the sucessful development of the company by working closely with David Zanetta and Denis Flageollet, founders of the company, who have always supported me. However, I feel that this chapter of my professional career comes to an end and it is time for me to look at new challenges and horizons."

Pierre Jacques has more than 15 years of exprience in the watch industry. He co-founded the watch magazine GMT, which he sold to the Edipresse group in 2007. He has also been on the board of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, and managed the Geneva brand of the renowned watch retailer Les Ambassadeurs  before taking over the management of De Bethune, one of the leading watch manufacturers, renowned for its technical and artistic creativity.
