Profile of Franck Dubarry's founder and CEO.

Franck Dubarry is a French national and a law graduate of the University of Aix-Marseille. He holds a “Global Trium” MBA awarded jointly by international business schools NYU Stern (New York), HEC (Paris) and LSE (London). He is a natural entrepreneur, creating his first company PubliMove (advertising on trucks) in 1983. In 1985 he set out for California, where he worked as a consultant. After returning to France in 1990 he founded the GRAM advertising agency.

In 1997, Franck Dubarry entered the watch industry with a splash, creating TechnoMarine in Geneva. The company’s colourful quartz watches feature bold designs and unusual combinations of materials, notably plastic and diamonds. 

After selling TechnoMarine in 1997, the entrepreneur began looking for something else to do. He threw himself into polo in Argentina (TechnoPolo), health food in the USA (Dr Smood) and smartphone luggage trackers (Lev-Technology LLC).

In 2014, after becoming involved in Apple’s I.Watch project, he decided to create the watch brand that bears his name. Franck Dubarry began selling his stunning mechanical watches with their highly personalised designs in 2015.
