Breguet Exhibition in Zurich
Spotlight on Breguet at Les Ambassadeurs.
Les Ambassadeurs boutique in Zurich is drawing attention to its window displays by featuring some of Breguet’s most important watchmaking advances until October 31st. Visitors are invited to explore the world of the Marine collection, a tribute to A.-L. Breguet’s appointment in 1815 as official watchmaker to the French Royal Navy. There was not a more prestigious title a watchmaker could have received, given the amount of scientific skill involved in the field of marine watchmaking. In 2017, to honour this unique heritage, Breguet launched the Marine Équation Marchante 5887 model. This “Grande Complication” is equipped with a running equation of time, a perpetual calendar and a tourbillon. It marks the beginning of a new era for the contemporary Marine line.
