In January 2019, the historical brand with a forward-thinking mindset enters its fourth year of existence with a brand-new combined boutique and head office, at Rue de la Corraterie 18 in the centre of Geneva. In 1845, the town saw the birth of Czapek & Cie, founded by Francois Czapek who already had a boutique on the Quai des Bergues in Geneva.
The new premises are an important milestone for Czapek & Cie. Since the brand aims to produce watches in accordance with the exacting standards of the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Geneva Hallmark) in the long term, the availability of a workshop in Geneva is essential to meet the geographical requirements of the Poinçon. There is already room for expansion at the new location, with the first floor of the new building due to become available in 2020.
