Girard-Perregaux continues the expansion of its global retail network, with the opening of its 8th boutique in the world. It is the 3rd one in China Mainland after those in Wuhan and Xi’an.

Girard-Perregaux has announced the opening of a new boutique in the Changsha IFS luxury mall, centrally located in the city’s prime business area. One of the seven major cities in Mainland, Changsha combines cultural wealth and economic strength in the Hunan Province in Southern China. Girard-Perregaux shares the city’s outlook for having important potential, especially given the presence of such great local demand from Chinese connoisseurs for Swiss high watchmaking timepieces.

The traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on December 7, in attendance of Isabelle Moine, Girard-Perregaux Asia Pacific Brand Manager, Steven Zhong, Operational General Manager, Girard-Perregaux China, together with long-standing partners from Huifuda Int'L Trading (Shenzhen) Ltd represented by Luke Yang, and Changsha IFS represented by Mr C.F.MA and Winni Wang. They were joined by VIP clients, friends of the brand, watch collectors, connoisseurs, as well as a selection of media.

“China is home to a large number of major watch collectors. They fully appreciate the expertise of the Swiss watchmaking art, expressed through our collections. This new boutique located in Changsha – the third in Mainland China - was designed in line with the concept so dear to the brand creating a warm yet classical elegant atmosphere, which will certainly meet the highest expectations of a discerning clientele among local residents. I wish our teams the best of success.” said Isabelle Moine, Brand Manager, Girard-Perregaux Asia Pacific.

Tracing its origins as far back as 1791, Girard-Perregaux has a legacy with China, benefiting legendary status in the history of Swiss fine watchmaking.
