1 minute read
December 4th, 2014 Louis Vuitton celebrates the reopening of its Geneva store on Rue du Rhône 33 after several months of renovation and expansion.

Present in Geneva for over 30 years, and since 2006 in this same location, Louis Vuitton has constantly renewed its store in order to offer its local clientele the best quality services.

The new architecture of the Geneva store now extends over four levels; each renovated. The ground floor houses the travel area, the core of the Louis Vuitton product universe. Next to a wide offer of women’s leather goods the visitor views extensive presentations of accessories, textiles as well as small leather goods.

The first floor presents a selection of women’s leather goods and accessories including a lounge for a cozy and relaxing discovery of the Houses’ highlight products. On the other side of this level, is a complete collection of Louis Vuitton’s watches and jewelry.

The second floor dedicated to the Women's fashion collections presents an extended offer of ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, textiles, and leather goods, including a private salon and the Haute Maroquinerie bespoke service dedicated to the personalization of Louis Vuitton’s iconic and timeless products.

The last stage of the expansion of the Geneva store is finalized with the opening of the men’s section, located on the lower floor, hosting the latest men’s fashion (causal and business), shoes, watches, and accessories as well as men’s leather goods.

Louis Vuitton and the Red Cross
On the occasion of the reopening of its Geneva store, the 150th year anniversary of the Geneva Conventions and the Swiss Red Cross’ 150th year anniversary in 2016, Louis Vuitton announces a partnership with the Red Cross. The partnership will be symbolized by the presence of the Red Cross First-Aid Kit box from 1914 displayed in the Geneva store, remembering the initial collaboration between the House and the organization beginning of the 20th Century. Louis Vuitton has decided to partner with the Swiss Red Cross by donating to Swiss Blood Stem Cells (SBSC), part of Swiss Transfusion SRC.
