Jacob & Co Milla Jovovich
The new face for the American brand's advertising campaign visited Jacob's spacious booth in Hall 3.0 at Baselworld.
On Saturday evening here at Baselworld, Jacob & Co. announced the new face of the company's global advertising: internationally renowned actress and model Milla Jovovich.
The announcement was unveiled during a jam-packed cocktail reception as Jovovich made a full red carpet entrance in Hall 3.0 side by side with founder Jacob Arabo.
The event took place at the Jacob & Co booth, which was elegantly decorated with illuminated tables, a Dom Perignon champagne bar and statuesque live models wearing the brand's jewelry and watches. The theme represented Jacob & Co's philosophy of multiple time zones, with each of the models indicating cities or ethnic groups including Hong Kong, Moscow, London, Dubai and New York.
DJ Kay Rush hosted the cocktail and introduced Jovovich to the guests in five languages.
“This evening is an important milestone for Jacob & Co,” said Arabo, a Russian jeweler at home in New York City. “We have been looking for the right personality to represent what I call the ‘Jacob Girl.' She is a sophisticated world traveler, self accomplished and exudes an assertive feminine personality.”
