To mark his 10 year anniversary as a Longines Ambassador of elegance, Andre Agassi welcomed the swiss watch brand as well as selected media guests to The Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus (DPAC), which aims at educating reponsible citizenship. Tennis legend Andre Agassi guided a group of journalists through the facilities and explained the programs ran in the school.
Founded in 2005, Democracy Prep Public Schools (DPPS) is a network of open enrollment, high-performing public charter schools based in Harlem (New-York). Their mission is to educate responsible citizen-scholars for success in the college of their choice and a life of active citizenship.
In 2017, DPPS received authorization to expand its highly successful model into Las Vegas. Rather than build a new program from scratch, Democracy Prep entered into a partnership with the Andre Agassi College Prep Academy and has transformed the existing school into Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus (DPAC) aims to be the highest performing public school choice for families in Las Vegas.
